it was a good weekend

now we are ready to start all over again.

friday night we watched jessie in ODT's spring production "shut up and dance" their first show called "romeo and juliet".

can't even use words to explain how freakishly amazing it was.

and that's not just cause one of the members is my sister.
it had everything from ballroom to hip hop to contemporary to break dancing.
i even cried at the end.

so if you are wanting some dance in your life buy tickets here.
(and i mean some good dancing.)

old treasures

unpacking boxes was like re-opening wedding gifts again.
it's been 3 years since i've used my own stuff.
i almost forgot what we had...

found these lovlies and made it a priority to use them.

i keep finding stuff.
you never know what i will post next.

so far

the little cottage is coming together.
i have to pace myself
and buy my little treasures not all at once.

i have to tell myself i'm running a marathon,
not a sprint.
slow down bryton.

it takes all will power to just drive to work and back without any stops.
once it all comes together i'll have you all over.
(but it maybe be later than sooner...at the pace i'm going...)

but jake actually enjoyed it.

it's all a trick

it seems like spring,
but living in utah i know better.
mother nature always throws in a few flurries during the month of march.

so i'm trying not to whip out the spring clothes,
red toe nails,
and my new sun hat just yet.

for now i'm going to act ignorant that it's warm outside,
and keep wearing my winter coat
just so i won't get my hopes up.

maybe if i don't anticipate spring,
spring will surprise me.
(good justification right?)
