a whirlwind

OF TWO YEARS!!!

can't believe it came so fast! i don't know what i did to marry such an incredible man, but each day i am amazed at how good he is to me. sometimes it's uncanny how i will be thinking how crusty i look, and he will tell me i am beautiful. sigh. so lucky. i think i will have to pay for being blessed with such an good man in the life to come, but what ever that job is, it is so worth it!!!!

birthday boy

happy birthday jake!

I don't know if many of you know this about jake, but jake hates the spotlight. So i'm sure he is not happy with me posting this, but i couldn't resist. AND to make it more fun, i've posted all of my favorite memories of jake since we've been married. Why not post the funniest ones? After all, he is always making me laugh. Happy Birthday babe!

being nacho libre. sometimes i will come home and he will have it on, with a cape and stretchy pants. yes, i pee my pants.

on our honeymoon. they gave us a special "honeymoon dessert" and it looked like a whale so jake is joining in.

wearing my little sis's stadium of fire dance costume. doesn't quite fit...

and of course him making fun of my style. work it!

sometimes i wonder how i got so lucky to marry my best friend. i love how we can just be together all the time now and never have to go "home". marriage is awesome. and my hubby is awesome! happy birthday!

happy thanksgiving....Morse style

The Morse family celebrated Thanksgiving the best way they know how--Jeepin in Moab. This was my first experience and, wow, it was not what I expected. The Morse boys are fearless and we would climb ANYTHING and don't ask me how we made it up those cliffs every time. We went on a trail called "Hell's Revenge" and what a more perfect name for that trail. It took all day and it was crazy how the jeeps could just climb anything in the middle of nowhere. Don't worry, we did break an axle and had to finish the rest of the trail in 2 wheel drive. I was scared out of my mind thinking we would be stranded, but the boys saw it as a challenge and you should have seen their faces when this "opportunity" arose to upgrade when they got home. Boys.

Birthday Girl!

It's that time of year again; Bryton's b-day! Since her birthday is October 30th, she usually gets jipped out of a good birthday because the focus is on Halloween. Not now that we are married. I get to spoil her any way I want. I'm taking her out tonight to Cheesecake Factory and I know she can't wait. She is now 22. They just grow up so fast! Bryton is amazing. She only has a year (2 semesters) left of school until she graduates and she is so excited. She will be a full blown ASL Interpreter. That's pretty amazing because there really aren't very many interpreters out there that are certified. She will be in high demand and will get paid well so she can be my sugar mama! Happy Birthday Brytie! These are the flowers I'm giving her today....

Something Old & Something New...

Our first time boating this summer!!! It's only September... jeez a little busy. Jake's work took us to Utah Lake and we had a blast. Jake, being the nice man that he is, drove the boats the whole time, so when he did get a turn in the water, I forgot to bring my camera!!! So you will only see pics of me. Yes I love to see myself drenched with Utah Lake water...

Something old...(wake boarding)

Something new!!! Wake surfing! I let go of the rope, but I still can't find that exact spot that keeps you going. It was awesome to try something new, which hopefully, I can keep working at.

My cute chauffeur and me in my lovely life vest.
Thanks Jake for working hard so we could go boating!!

Bienvenidos a casa Elder Morse!

My long lost brother-in-law is home! Talk about weird, Mitch and I were "Cutest Couple" in 6th grade and friends all through high school, now I am married to his brother! Mitch left on his mission when Jake and I got engaged and then married so he is still trying grasp the idea of me being in the family. He didn't quite know how to handle me at the airport....hug or handshake? hug or handshake? We love him anyway, welcome home Mitch!

Jake, me, and our niece Jess waiting for Mitch's plane. The plane was delayed by an hour! The little niece and nephews did not like that...

This sign says "We love you!"

Mitch had his homecoming in the Alpine ward and then one in his new ward in Eagle Mountain. Don't Mitch and Jake look like brothers? I hope I don't get confused one day and grab the wrong person's hand! Nice face Jake...

L. A. Hollywood!

Jessie invited me to go to Jump Nationals, which is a dance convention and competition with teachers and judges like Mandy Moore, Mia Michaels, Nick (he won the 1st season of SYTYCD), Dee, etc. She won VIP in the Salt Lake competition which means this competition was paid for! Good job Jess! Her team did great-- they won high gold in all of there dances. Since she was a VIP she learned three extra dances while she was down there and preformed them in the Final Show. She did great! Thanks Jess for working hard so I could come down to LA and see you tear it up!

We stayed in the NICEST hotel! It was right next to the Kodak Theatre, where the academy awards are!!!! And right outside is Hollywood and Highland where all the stars handprints are. Of course I got a picture of the Harry Potter Clan....

My mom also surprised me to Wicked!!! What a great surprise! Thanks Mom! For all of you who have seen it, I definitely cried and you know what part I am talking about...
