we finally went to The Chocolate.
it's this cute little house on state street that serves cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and cake.
my kinda place.
i've been wanting to go there for a very long time.
finally, a free weekend came and we went!
we thought about taking our goodies home,
but the house is so cute and vintage, we stayed.
i, of course, was tempted to ask the cashier where they got those chairs...
and the desserts were everything i was looking forward to.
jake got the german chocolate brownie
and i got the caramel top chocolate cupcake.
it was heaven.
tempting to return for a second night in a row...
but we will save The Chocolate for another night.
(it's now saved for special occasions.)
