am i jumping the gun if i'm already looking forward to spring?

knowing Utah, i might have just jinxed us for another storm...

one year

It's been one year since we moved into our little cottage.  Before, we were nomads living place to place and it is so nice to come home to this view every day and know it's ours (well month to month...)  Now the little cottage is getting ready to welcome another member of our family.  I've been organizing like crazy, getting rid of junk, putting everything in bins, and making poor Jake give up some of his space to fit little jr.  But Jake's been super patient and indulging my crazy spurts of home organization.  We are so excited and lucky to be here, we've been having fun planning the small little nursery.  So little cottage, you've been good to us.  Please make room for this growing family for another year.  Love, the Morses.

baby shower time (and 36 weeks)

Last night my close friends threw me a shower with nummy food, awesome cupcakes, and thoughtful gifts. If you ever want to feel loved, have a shower.  They sure went above and beyond.  Thanks friends.

Today will be another shower.  It's a party.

oh, and I'm 36 weeks.
