my turn

this year was my turn for valentines day. along with one of my most favorite people in the world--ashley, we planned a very different valentines. so what did i plan? well...

i blindfolded jake and drove him all over so he wouldn't know where we were. but really, as a guy, he knew EXACTLY where we were each turn, each spin, and stop. humph. anyway, this crazy course led us to the mall. (were you surprised?) the deal of the game was to buy an outfit for that evening's dinner--which was chef's table--thanks to a gift card. so i had to buy jake an outfit and he had to buy me one. so ash and i dropped off our jaw-open boys and went on our way to shop. hehe.

we met back and the results were surprising. i trained my hubby well might i just say. i was very impressed (and honestly relieved)
enjoy the model pics that we were SO excited to pose for...only each other...

and i think i did good myself! look we match and we didn't even plan it!

and then the long awaited dinner to the very acclaimed chef's table. thank you eharbor.

to top off the night we pulled out our artistic abilities from preschool and finger-painted a portrait of one another.

it was a different valentines day but that's what you get when bryton is making the plans (shopping, dinner, and the arts...) next year is jake's turn. hmm...wonder how different that's going to be.
